This Privacy Policy explains how Shake Ai, LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”) handles personal data when you use the Shake AI mobile application, the website at https://shake-ai.com/, and related services (the “Service”). If you do not agree with this Policy, do not use the Service.

2) What we collect

2.1 Information you provide

2.2 Information collected automatically

We may collect information about how you access and use the Service, such as usage and diagnostics; device and network data (e.g., device model, OS and app version, IP address, time zone, language, mobile network, advertising identifiers); and location signals (GPS, Wi‑Fi, and IP-based location) if you grant permission. On our websites and in in-app webviews we may use cookies, SDKs, and similar technologies.

2.3 Information from third parties

We may receive information from payment processors, login providers you choose to use, partners that support safety and moderation, and analytics or marketing partners in aggregated or limited form.

2.4 Special categories and sensitive data

You may choose to share sensitive data in your profile or chats. Where required by law, we seek your explicit consent before processing such data. You can withdraw consent through settings or by contacting us.

3) How we use data

We use personal data to operate, provide, and improve the Service, including to:

  • Create and manage accounts and profiles; enable discovery, matches, and chats
  • Provide AI-supported features such as recommendations, prompts, and safety screening
  • Maintain safety and integrity, including verification, prevention of spam and abuse, and enforcement of our Terms
  • Communicate with you about the Service and respond to your requests
  • Personalize features, understand usage, and enhance performance and reliability
  • Comply with applicable laws and respond to lawful requests

Automated decision-making and profiling. We use automated systems to help sort and recommend content, detect potential issues, and support moderation. Where local law provides rights related to automated decisions, you may request additional information or human review.

Legal bases (EEA/UK). Where required, processing may rely on one or more legal bases such as performance of a contract, our legitimate interests, your consent, or compliance with legal obligations.

6) Data retention

7) Your choices and rights

In-app controls. You can edit profile and media, adjust visibility and discovery settings, manage notifications and location permissions, and block or report users.

Data subject rights. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing; request portability; and withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email hello@shake-ai.com. We verify requests and respond within applicable timelines.

Marketing preferences. You can opt out of marketing communications in settings or by following unsubscribe instructions. Service messages will continue.

Personalized ads. Where required, personalized advertising is based on your consent and can be managed in settings or device controls. You may request a non-personalized experience where available.

8) AI and moderation specifics

Our systems may analyze text, images, and behavioral signals to support recommendations and safety. We combine automated tools with human review where appropriate. We may use aggregated or de-identified data to improve models and features. Private messages are not used to train public models.

9) Security

We apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact hello@shake-ai.com.

10) Cookies and tracking

We use cookies, SDKs, and similar technologies to operate the Service, remember preferences, measure usage, and, where permitted, support marketing. You can manage preferences in the app, your device settings, and your browser. Some features may not function without certain technologies.

11) Younger users

The Service is available to a broad audience. Where local law requires consent from a parent or guardian for younger users, we aim to obtain it or limit features accordingly. If you believe we collected data from a child contrary to law, contact hello@shake-ai.com so we can take appropriate steps.

12) Third-party links and SDKs

The Service may include links to third-party sites or integrate third-party SDKs. Their processing is governed by their own policies. Review those policies before using related features.

13) Account deletion

You can delete your account in the app or email hello@shake-ai.com for assistance. After account deletion, we begin processes to remove personal data from active use and then from backups and logs in accordance with our retention practices and legal requirements.

14) Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. If changes are material, we will provide a form of notice we consider reasonable. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.

16) Region-specific disclosures

EEA/UK. Controller: Shake Ai, LLC. You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Lawful bases and transfer safeguards appear above. Special-category data is processed only with your explicit consent or if you make it manifestly public.

California (CCPA/CPRA) Notice at Collection. Categories collected may include identifiers, contact information, demographic details you choose to provide, commercial information, internet/network activity, geolocation, user content, inferences, and sensitive data you enable (e.g., precise location or identity verification). We collect these for the purposes described in this Policy. We retain data as described in the retention section. We do not sell personal data. Where “sharing” for cross-context advertising is applicable, we provide choices consistent with the law.
